Write A‑Round —a week of theatre-making for young people at The Hive

This event will run for a week from Monday 3rd August through to Friday 7th August.

Sessions will start at 10:00am and finish at 3:00pm.

This summer an exciting week-long youth theatre course to be staged in the round at The Hive, Shrewsbury. Shropshire Youth Theatre (SYT) and Eightball Productions announce Write A‑Round, an intensive week-long devising course for young people aged 9–14 years in the first week of August.

Led by Emma of Eightball Productions and Lisa of Shropshire Youth Theatre, Write A‑Round invites participants to explore writing, drama, music, dance and crafts as they collaborate to devise and perform short pieces of theatre “in the round.”

These engaging sessions will be delivered by Emma from Eightball Productions and Lisa lead for Shropshire Youth Theatre. Together Emma and Lisa bring extensive experience in youth and community theatre. This week promises to inspire young people to develop original performance-making and storytelling skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.
