Trish Clowes 'My Iris' Quartet, an intense and thrilling band that represents the front rank of the contemporary UK jazz scene, returns to SJN at the Hive with new compositions from their latest album ‘Try Me’. With an international reputation for intricate writing and adventurous improvisation, saxophonist Trish Clowes provides her incredible band members Ross Stanley (Hammond organ), Mike Outram (guitar) and Joel Barford (Drums) with an abundance of space for exploration, spontaneity and kinetic provocation. Expect ballads, melodic invention, and excitement.
